EcoNile Organization has gained international recognition for its commitment to education, youth empowerment, and sustainable development. Our impact has extended far beyond Sudan’s borders, earning us distinguished honors on one of the world’s most respected global youth‑led platforms.
In September 2021, EcoNile was selected to represent Sudan at the Youth World Cup (YWC21), an initiative organized by the Global Peace Chain to honor youth contributions toward the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The competition brings together young leaders from around the world to showcase innovative solutions across ten categories, including education, peacebuilding, climate action, and community development.
Being chosen to participate was already a significant milestone — but what followed became a defining moment in EcoNile’s journey.
EcoNile advanced through multiple competitive stages, beginning at the national level and progressing to the continental and global rounds. At each stage, our work in education and community empowerment stood out for its clarity of purpose, measurable impact, and alignment with sustainable development principles.
Through a strong, values‑driven campaign and a clear vision for educational transformation, EcoNile rose to the top ranks in Africa and earned a place in the international semi‑finals held in Turkey. This global platform allowed EcoNile to showcase its mission, approach, and achievements to a diverse audience of youth leaders, experts, and international judges.
