Dr. Ismail Elgizouli Specialist in Energy, Climate Change, and Environmental Sustainability

The EcoNile experience is one that deserves recognition, especially since it is driven by young people who believe in environmental issues and sustainable development. Despite its short lifespan, this platform has earned the trust and respect of both young people and experts alike. It has done so by presenting important issues related to the environment, climate, and forests, and by attracting scientists—not merely to share their expertise, but rather to exchange knowledge with young people. This has been achieved through strong organization, resulting in excellent qualitative and quantitative participation in all its events, with a level of continuity that is rarely found in many youth organizations.

Adam Alhaj Founder of Gogreen – Sudan

EcoNile for Sustainability has contributed to achieving a qualitative breakthrough by providing and presenting an environmental platform that added significant value to documentation and awareness-raising efforts during the ongoing war in Sudan. For example, participants’ engagement with the content of Gogreen’s contribution through the lecture on energy poverty was one of the most important elements that enabled us to effectively deliver the awareness message to the audience. Therefore, we extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the Econile team for their professionalism in coordination, their care and attention, and for facilitating the task in the best possible way.

EcoNile is an organization that reflects the advanced expertise of young people in environmental work. From my experience with them, I found a high level of engagement with the invitees and a distinguished, interactive audience, which clearly reflects the competence of the coordinators and the careful selection of the content. Truly, they are promising young people who deserve our support and for us to stand behind them. Forward, EcoNile—toward bringing together an even greater number of young people. With my love and respect.
