Global Pathways to Food Security

Insights from the 2022 World Food Forum

In October 2022, the FAO Headquarters in Rome served as the global stage for a transformative movement in agrifood systems. EcoNile’s General Secretary, Mr. Shihab Osman, represented the organization at the World Food Forum (WFF), joining international leaders to address the escalating global food crisis. His participation underscored EcoNile’s commitment to driving innovation and sustainable solutions at the intersection of food security and climate action.

A Global Movement for Change

The WFF serves as a premier youth-led platform designed to transform agrifood systems. Under the theme "Healthy Diets. Healthy Planet," the forum sought to bridge the gap between climate action and food security—a mission central to EcoNile’s regional initiatives.
